Reed exploring the campsite
Paige checking things out
Paige was ready for a nap at 8 am after such an early start!
The cool kid
Showing our campsite number
Climbing, always climbing...
Always exploring
Reed LOVED feeding the ducks! He would laugh his head off when all the ducks would scramble to catch the bread
I tried giving Paige a turn but she just kept eating the bread!
Reed would hold his hand out for more the second he got rid of the bread!
Paige just wanted to get in the water. I had to let her slip in before she left it alone!
We took Reed out on a paddleboat
Paige stayed with Nana at the playground because she couldn't be trusted in a boat! That was not water I wanted to perform a rescue in!
Reed wanted to steer the whole time
He wasn't loving it at first
But he definitely got into it!
I was there!
Later on we checked out the playground. Paige just wanted to eat every stick in sight.
The swings are always a hit with both of them
My happy boy
Paige loves climbing UP the slide
She likes playing with dirt too!
The kids positions at mealtime
Paige checked out the tub first. Reed took a bath too but the pics were not rated for blog!
Reed LOVES to sit on Dada's dirt bike. We do this every day...
There is a swim lagoon we took the kids to on day two
Paige wasn't so sure about the water at first
A rare family photo without someone running away!
Reed loved splashing Nana after we finally coaxed him in the water!
Dada took Reed on a short trip around our site
We had to visit the ducks one last time before we left
Paige was on lockdown this time
Every day we walk Justin out to go to work. Reed likes to watch him drive away on his motorcycle. He just started doing something when getting on his bike I couldn't figure out. Then I realized he was copying Dada! He pretends he's putting on a helmet and then says "Reed's going to work!"
Putting on his helmet
I have a hard time getting the kids to smile for pictures and hold still! I sing a song to Reed where I make faces at certain parts to get him to laugh naturally! (And no, there will be no demonstration of the song!)
Anticipating the face...
It was all fun and games until a duck nipped Reed's hand when he was feeding them. (I got this on video!) I don't think we'll be visiting the ducks again anytime soon!
So we were off again to the playground

Works like a charm!
