Happy Birthday Nana!

Today is Nana Silvestrini's birthday. Since both our men were working, we decided to celebrate by taking the kids to Yucaipa Regional Park together.

Last night Paige fell flat on her face and split open her top lip so we weren't sure how she was going to do today. :(



We started them off on the swings, always a hit!

Paige seemed to be in good spirits and her injury quickly forgotten!

FIRE FIRE FIRE

A couple of weeks ago there was a fire at an adjacent lot to our house. Reed heard the firetruck so we went to check it out. The fire chief saw us watching and came over and let Reed wear his hat and get close to the fire. I am still kicking myself for not getting my camera until after the chief left. Reed enjoyed watching the firemen for two hours while we sat on Dada's tailgate







We alternated between sitting on the tailgate and the curb. You can see the firetruck in the back.

The firetruck did a U turn and drove by and waved at Reed when they left.

This is what the kids spent the rest of the morning doing.

Reed was loving his fire trucks for a long time after this!

Music in the Park

Since the 4th of July we've been enjoying Music in the Park at Stewart Park in Beaumont with family and friends. The kids love to hang out and dance and snack, snack, snack!

We went and saw Leanne Rhimes last week with my sister, her husband and their two little girls Chloe and Felicity. The kids LOVE hanging out with their cousins!

Juan bought Reed his first cotton candy but he didn't know what to do with it! He held it the whole time and NEVER tasted it!


Paige was immediately off and running, making new friends as usual!

We are so happy we got to hang out with family and friends and really enjoy living in such a small town where there's always something fun to do!
