Happy 4th of July!

I love holidays! The 4th of July is one of my favorites! It's a reminder of how blessed we are to live in this Country and sadly, we don't remember that every day. But that's what makes the 4th extra special. Every year since we moved to Beaumont we've gone to the Music in the Park and fireworks at Stewart Park. Every year so far we've had a baby so always stayed for the music but went home and watched fireworks from the yard after putting the kids to bed. This is the first year we stayed for the fireworks! Justin had to work so only came for a little bit but Nana and Papa with us!

So handsome!

My beautiful girl

Ready to go!

I had to pull up this pic from last year. Same stroller, same shirts, very different kids! What a difference a year makes - especially with Paige who was just a baby last year!

Family pic

Reeds obsessed with firetrucks! We all took turns taking him to see them five or six times!

Of course Paige does everything big brother does!

We brought a picnic dinner

Trying on Papa's hat

Reed can sniff out the hidden chocholate from anywhere!

Reed and Papa waiting to ride the train

Riding the train. Look at their faces - exact same expression!

And back to the firetrucks!

I bribed them with ice cream to get them away from the firetrucks!

I got the kids flag glow sticks. They used them like light sabers to fight each other!

I didn't attempt pics of the fireworks but the kids loved them! They were a little scared at first but quickly got over it and enjoyed the show. Beaumont puts on an awesome fireworks display!

So blessed to live in this Country and even more blessed by my family!

  1. You're such a good Mommy, Lindsey! Glad you guys had a good time. Hopefully next year (when Brady is older), we will be going too.

    Love ya!
